Marcie’s Cookie Company is a London-based bakery with a story rooted in Jamaica. Founded in 2023, Marcie set out to bring something genuinely different to the cookie world — handcrafted bakes inspired by Caribbean flavours, traditions and nostalgia, reimagined as bold, indulgent, bakery-style cookies.
From island favourites transformed into vegan creations to globally inspired classics, every recipe is built around one simple idea: great cookies that don’t compromise on flavour.
The problem? Her photos weren’t doing any of that justice.
The Challenge
Marcie had a product with a real story behind it — rich flavours, beautiful textures, a brand identity rooted in culture and craft. But like many small food businesses, she was shooting everything herself and the visuals weren’t communicating any of it.
She needed photography that matched the quality and character of what she was actually baking.
How It Started
Marcie found POV LDN on TikTok. She left a comment, sent us a DM and within five minutes on the phone we both knew exactly what needed to happen. No lengthy briefs, no back and forth — just two people who immediately understood what the other was about.
We set a date, a time and a location. Simple as that.
The Shoot
We spent a couple of hours with Marcie photographing her full range of cookies — working through compositions, angles and setups to capture what makes each one special. The detail in her bakes deserved to be seen properly: the textures, the colours, the craft that goes into every single one.
We focused on hero product shots that put the cookies front and centre, close-up detail shots that showed the finish and quality, flat lays for website and promotional use, and lifestyle-style compositions built for social media.
Back home, we edited carefully — bringing out the warmth and richness of the product without over-processing. The goal was always to make the cookies look exactly as good as they do in person.
The Result
Marcie received a full set of polished, ready-to-use product photography — content that finally matched the quality and personality of her brand. From a TikTok comment to a complete set of professional images in under a week.
